Community Days.
Once a year the whole village turns out for Community Days — music, food, rides, and neighbors you haven't seen since last summer, all in one weekend.
Community Days is Gilberts' biggest celebration. Families spread out across the park for live music, a carnival, food vendors, and the kind of run-into-everyone-you-know afternoon that small towns do best.
It's run with the help of dozens of local volunteers and sponsors, and it's free to come and enjoy. Bring the kids, bring a chair, and stay for the evening.
