Parks & Recreation looks after the four parks that make Gilberts feel like home — the ballfields, splash play, trails, and stocked ponds. They also handle pavilion rentals and seasonal programs.
Planning a party or a reunion? You can reserve a pavilion and ask about open dates and group sizes.
What we do
- Maintain the Village's four parks, playgrounds, and trails.
- Take pavilion and shelter reservations for parties and events.
- Stock and care for the park ponds for fishing.
- Run seasonal events like Movies in the Park and Community Days.
- Keep splash play, ballfields, and the skate park ready for the season.
- Plan park improvements as the Village grows.
