Board of Trustees
Gilberts is run by an elected Village Board — a Village President, six Trustees, and a Village Clerk. They set the budget, pass local laws, and steer the Village's future, all in open public meetings.
How the Board works
The Village President leads the Board and represents Gilberts. The six Trustees each carry an equal vote on the budget, ordinances, and contracts. The Village Clerk keeps the official record. Together they meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 7:00 PM in Village Hall — and every meeting is open to the public.
Your elected officials
The Board is made up of these seats. In production, each seat is filled with the current official's name from Village records.
